Music To Get You Through Summer

Wagwan! I'm back finally after what seems like a year of not creating content, I've been doing my first year A level exams and I only have one left now *woop woop*. WHICH means I can blog again and actually do the things I enjoy without the guilt of not revising. I also am pretty sure I have sun stroke so lets do this guys and gals.
So Its always good to have a couple albums to listen to throughout summer to not only get yo ass in the summer mood but when you hear them again it'll remind you of the summer when they were your fave which is always a 10/10 feeling.

1) First up 24K Bruno Mars, Its so upbeat and fun. I know it came out a while ago but its funky and dancey, I can see myself listening to it a lot whilst barbecues and parties are going on. Bruno has progressively changed his sound throughout the years and some love it others not so much. I am actually in love with this album and my moves well and truly shine with these tunes playing *my moves are utter crap don't listen to me*

2) Following My Intuition, I love Craig David so maybe I'm slightly biased but this album is amazing its such a mixed bag of song types, some are absolute bops and then there's emotional tracks if you get my drift. Some are singing songs others are dancing ones, that's basically what I'm trying to say. God I can't even string sentences together anymore. They're songs everyone will enjoy plus every now and again old skool Craig comes through like an angel sent from the pop gods. It's dank.

3) The 1975's second album "I like it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it" I know right long name. This unlike their first album is more upbeat, I mean don't get me wrong there are some real heart breaking songs but overall its a really enjoyable group of songs.I thought I'd put it into this list as it's overall good to jam to (God I hate myself) and even though some may not like it, this band have quickly become my favourite.

4) Last but not least, Lady Gaga's Joanne which I have fallen in love with. This is something I don't think anyone expected from Gaga but holy moly it is legendary. The songs have such purposeful lyrics especially 'Come to Mama'. Its amazing to hear music that actually has a meaningful message behind it, and I was so pleasantly surprised by this album that I listened to it so much I have to give it a break. I miss it.

Hope you enjoyed this post, If not sorry but I'm trying to get my mojo back from being away for so long. I love and have missed y'all. Here's to bigger and more content, HURAHH.

Thanks, Em x
